We are excited to share, The United For Impact Youth Leadership Program – Youth Impact 2026 application is now live.

our doors are now open, offering a distinguished opportunity for students to engage in multifaceted initiatives. Within our esteemed summer program, participants will delve into the nuanced realms of Mental Health and Substance abuse awareness projects, while honing their social networking acumen. Additionally, they will refine their skills in organizing large-scale events and mastering the art of public speaking, leading to the extraordinary chance to present their initiatives to a captivated audience. Moreover, participants will forge invaluable connections while collaborating with children on the autism spectrum during a transformative summer internship.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a current high school student enrolled in grades 9 through 12.
  • Demonstrated interest in social impact, community service, or leadership activities.
  • Willingness to learn and engage in diverse topics, including mental health awareness, substance abuse prevention, Autism awareness, and community organizing.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Display leadership potential or involvement in extracurricular activities.
  • Possess the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and on individual assigned projects.
  • Commit to attending all program sessions, events, and activities.
  • Obtain parental or guardian consent if under the age of 18.
  • Provide a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or community leader.
  • Access to reliable transportation to attend program events and activities.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to contribute to positive social change.

Learning Opportunities:

  • Earn community service hours
  • Boost your college admissions: Write about your UFI experience in college applications or essays if you’d like!
  • Make a meaningful impact: while volunteering with teens on community service programs.
  • Increased Awareness and Understanding: Participants will gain a deeper understanding of crucial societal issues such as mental health awareness, autism advocacy, and honoring our heroes.
  • Hands-on Experience: Through active participation in organizing events and campaigns, participants will acquire practical skills in event planning, project management, and community engagement.
  • Leadership Development: The program will foster leadership skills by providing opportunities for participants to take initiative, collaborate with peers, and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
  • Personal Growth: Participants will have the chance to develop personally by building self-confidence, resilience, and empathy through their involvement in initiatives aimed at making a positive impact.
  • Networking and Community Building: Engaging with like-minded peers and community members will facilitate the development of a supportive network and long-lasting connections.

The program is unpaid.

Period:  June 02, 2026- July 02, 2026
The First Kickoff meeting will be held on June 02, 2026
Participant Recognition & Awards: On July 02, 2026

This program operates on a hybrid model, with weekly meetings and assigned tasks. Full engagement in all events is mandatory, ensuring active participation throughout.

Deadline: Applications, including letters of recommendation, must be received by May 19,2026

  • Submit two letters of recommendation in support of your application. The letters do not have to be from academic references and your recommenders may submit the letters directly to Volunteer@unitedforimpact.com. Do not submit more than two letters of recommendation. Additional letters will not be reviewed.
  • While not required, you are strongly encouraged to submit a resume or similar document cataloging your professional/extracurricular activities to Volunteer@unitedforimpact.com
